Welcome to your onboarding guide for Kaptio's certified Amadeus integration! This guide will lead you through the process, from understanding our partnership to configuring your systems for successful integration. Let's get started!
Our certification with Amadeus gives Kaptio customers the ability to use the PNR Import functionality in both test (PDT) and production (SECO) environments. However, please note that while the search cost and book functions are available, these are only certified in the test (PDT) environment and currently, there is no user interface to support this functionality.
Kaptio has a "Client Application Provider" (CAP) agreement with Amadeus. In order for you to use this integration, you will need to apply for a "Client Application User" (CAU) agreement.
Coverage of the Kaptio-Amadeus agreement extends to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, South Africa, and Australia. If your operations are based in a different country, we will need to consult with Amadeus about extending the current agreement and please be aware that additional costs may apply.
For successful integration, you must:
Your account manager should assist in filling out most of the form.
Remember, without access to the Test (PDT) environment, we cannot retrieve test PNRs. This must be arranged before any configuration starts.
Once we receive your web service credentials and confirmation of access to the Test (PDT) environment, we can begin the configuration process:
After you have completed testing in the staging environment, we will proceed with configuring the production org (SECO):
By following these steps, we aim to achieve a smooth and effective integration process. We look forward to working together!
